We had a great turnout for the S.L.E.D.S. Toyrun (Santa Loves Every Donation Shared) on Saturday the 1st. (Over 200 bikes) All funds and toys collected go to needy local children to make their Christmas better.

Later that night we kicked back for some fun to at the 1st annual POW*MIA Halloween party. Even though this event was for fun rather than for raising funds we were still able to raise over $400 for a voted upon charity. The money will be going to the Marine Corps League Toys for Tots. Our very own Will Pretzer is the SE Idaho Coordinator for Toys for Tots this year and we will be contacting him to see if there are any special needs.

These are from the local H.O.G. Fall Color run through Emigration and Logan Canyon. It was a great ride with almost 50 bikes there. Beautiful scenery and good times! View Images

Our own Sarge and KZBQ's Paul Anderson sponsered a banner for which we gathered signatures at the POW*MIA Recognition Day and at the Montgomery Gentry concert. Once full we sent it to be hung in the mess hall in Iraq. Approximately 4000 soldiers will see it daily. Our own Johnny Rivas wasn't feeling so well during this time and Sarge knew he and Dell would like to sign it before we sent it over. We all got together and took the banner to Johnny and Dell for their signatures. Here's some of the pictures from that night!

September 19, 2008 was National POW*MIA Recognition Day. We received a proclamation each from Mayor Chase (Pocatello) and Mayor England (Chubbuck). There was also a very touching ceremony for those in attendance. Images
