Ride to Hailey

Thanks to all those who made the ride to Hailey. It was a great ride with wonderful people for an amazing family. We sincerely hope that we make the same ride soon to welcome Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl home!

3rd annual Standing with Bowe Prayer

Hello,

With a very successful rally just on our heels we don’t want to sit back when we have a chance to fulfill our mission statement!

We are nearing the 3rd annual Standing with Bowe Prayer (This Saturday morning).

Staging for all converging riders will be just off exit 173 on I-84. (Twin Falls Exit) We will converge in the large parking lot on the corner of US 92 and KUHN Road just north of the Flying J at 12:30 PM. We will have a short riders meeting.

The main body will leave the staging area at 12:45 PM with police escort. That body will drive the posted speed limit but will have blockers through stop signs and lights. Upon reaching Bellevue we will follow the escort into a large parking lot on the right side of the road. ALL BIKES WILL ENTER THE PARKING LOT. All flagging up will happen here and we will all do it together to avoid any issues. The police escort will proceed ahead of us to lead the entire group into Hailey.

We want to show the Bergdahl family, the town of Hailey, the State of Idaho and the nation that we will not forget SGT. Bowe Bergdahl nor the sacrifice being made by him and his family. This run will be made rain or shine and we look forward to spending some time with them. Having 4 POW*MIA groups plus other clubs and organizations come together for this purpose is one of the most important things we will do all year long.

Any questions please do not hesitate to contact Casey Jackman at 709-2317 or xraypowmia@yahoo.com

Community Day @ new hospital, Pocatello, ID

POW*MIA Invited to help with the Community Day for the New Hospital in Pocatello, Idaho.

Please see invitation from Christie Stone, Organizer of Community Day Events for PMC’s open House.

I would like to take a minute to invite you to attend the Proclamation by Mayor Blad and Mayor England. Our local POW*MIA will be escorting the runners to begin the “fun run” starting at 8am, then they will be bringing in the flags of the nations starting at 9:45 am.

Our colors will be presented by the POW*MIA while our National Anthem is being sung. This will start the Community day program (10:00am). After the short program there will be tours of the new hospital all day long, with free food, drinks and fun. PMC is asking that all attendees park at the Holt arena parking lot and ride one of the shuttles up. They will be going every 5-7 minutes to and
from Holt all day long. I hope each of you get the opportunity to see this amazing new building. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.
